Laurah Morningstar Winder took her undergraduate degree from Smith College She has a master's in Journalism from Columbia University. While most of her work is non-fiction, lifestyle and profile pieces, she also writes children's books and short story fictional pieces. She is a member of the Authors Guild and is on the board of the New Mexico Book Association. If she is not writing, she is thinking about writing.
